US imposes new sanctions on 10 Russian companies

WASHINGTON, Dec 22 (PRIME) -- The U.S. has imposed sanctions on 10 Russian companies connected with shipbuilding and navigation, the Department of the Treasury said on Thursday.

The list includes Morinformsystem Agat; the Central Research Institute of Structural Materials Prometey, part of the Kurchatov Institute; the Central Research Institute of Marine Engineering; the Central Institute for Scientific Research Elektropribor and the Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
